Yesterday's Pennant draw saw all three games played at home (the 2s had a bye), resulting in wins for the 6s and 7s but sadly the 4s went down.
The 6s 64-46, 8 points to 2 win against North Manly put the side on top of their section ladder, a half point ahead of Mosman at this midway point in the competition. The result came as a result of a big win by Peter Sullivan's team. Chatswood had been top of the table but went down to Mosman in yesterday's game. The 7s defeated Seaforth 69-60, 9 points to 1 thanks to a big win by Chris Stirling's team. This places then second on the ladder 1 1/2 points behind Mona Vale so still very much in the competition. Not such good news for our 4s who went down 75-57 , 8 points to 2 against Willoughby Park. Both Bob Talbot's and Joe Shofer's teams had close wins but no such luck for John Cumming's team. They are still in the hunt, 3rd on the ladder. Tony Tinworth 27 May 2018
