To top off her winning week, Vicki Bartrop defeated Jen Cox in the finals of the Club Women's Singles. Congratulations to Vicki for her major achievements this past week.

The District Senior Women’s Singles final was played at Belrose BC on Sunday 13 August, between Vicki Bartrop (St Ives) and Elaine Seidler (Neutral Bay), with Vicki winning 25-16. Vicki goes on to play the Regional Playoff next weekend to see who represents Region 15 at the State Championships.  Congratulations to Chris Berger who won through to the quarter finals of the Zone 9 Singles last weekend. In the round robin, Chris defeated Col Green of Harbord and Alan Fawcett from Asquith. In the quarter final, Chris went down 15-25 to John Campton (Rowdy) of Belrose. Nice run, Chris!
