Congratulations to Tim Walton & Peter Larcombe who took out the 2019 Pairs Championship on Saturday. The Final was played in cold & blustery conditions and the match was very close early on before Tim & Peter took control & held on for the win & repeat their triumph of last year. The final score was 22-13.
Rod Silber and Greig Cohen played the final of the 2019 SIBC Consistency Singles on a moderate green and pleasant weather conditions.
In a quality game, Rod Silber became the Consistency Singles champion for 2019 when he won 150 shots to Greig Cohen’s 140 shots.
It started disastrously for Greig as he lost 9 shots on ends 2 and 3, to be 24-6 down after end 3. However, he pressured the former Club Singles champion and fought back as demonstrated in the table below.
Well done, Greig.
