Bowls NSW will present live streaming (via the Bowls NSW Facebook page) of the 2018 State Junior Championships. Action on Monday July 16 features the Singles and on Friday July 20 the Pairs.
Coverage on both days will begin at 9am with the first semi-final, followed by the second semi-final & then conclude with the final. Gerard Coggans 28 June 2018

Seven of the eight matches in the 1st round of the Consistency Singles were decided today. The remaining match between Peter Larcombe and Chris Wood will be played on July 3. The second round matches are scheduled for July 4. The updated draw is shown below. Gerard Coggans 27 June 2018 Please advise the selectors asap if there are any problems with availability. The latest positions for our four Pennants sides shows the 7s in a good position atop their section by 13 points. The 6s are very much in contention just 7 1/2 points behind Mosman. The 4s still have a chance but they have ground to make up on Willoughby Park. There are three rounds left to go. Our Grade 7 pennant team was the only club success in yesterday's round 7 of this year's men's pennant season. Currently leading their section, the 7s were playing away at Killara and after ending the day with a 2 rink to 1 win they have now extended their lead to more than a games' win in front of their chasers. Bob Balmer's team continued their good season's form and racked up a very good win and Chis Sterling's foursome came home with a flurry of shots to overcome their opponent in the last 5 or 6 ends. It was an impressive performance by our 7s in what was generally a disappointing day for the club in other grades.
Important player absences in the 2s saw a number of strategic selections made and the team performed admirably in going down at Asquith by a total of 11 shots. Unfortunately our 4s also went down by 11 shots to Belrose away and the 6s, who had been leading the comp before today's round were outclassed by Chatswood at home by 14 shots in a 2 rink to 1 loss. With only 3 rounds to play our selectors have asked all members in all grades to update the pennant availability sheet and to do all possible to be available for selection for the remaining rounds. Gerard Coggans 17 June 2018  Finalists for 2018 Ladies Minor Singles- Jan Kelett & Bev Barton What a relief for the ladies contesting the 2018 Minor Singles Final... a dry clear day! After earlier rounds were played in inclement weather the sun returned for the Final. In the early ends Jan Kelett had the edge but as the game progressed both ladies found their form. After a fine match it was Bev Barton who came out on top with a score of 28 to 14. Congratulations to both finalists. Gerard Coggans 17 June 2018 Congratulations to the two winning ladies in the Minor Singles Semi-Finals yesterday. Jan Kelett came through in her semi against Carol Whitehead. In the other match Bev Barton was the winner against Ros Heilman. Commiserations to the losing semi-finalists.
