Renovations now complete and Restaurant opening Fri 24th Nov

Below is an update from the President Kevin Latham on our Club renovations and the re-opening of the restaurant & bistro:
 
CLUBHOUSE RENOVATIONS UPDATE
16th November 2017
 
Your new Club, The St Ives Club, will be ready next week.  We have transformed the 50’s and 60’s style clubhouse into a modern vibrant and colourful club that you will enjoy and will attract many new members and visitors to our Club.
 
We have made many changes to the clubhouse including the installation of the floor to ceiling windows and doors along the western wall.  This change has to be seen to fully understand the impact.  In addition the feature wallpaper adds to the ambiance of our new clubhouse.
 
All of the major construction work has been completed and the carpet will be laid today and tomorrow.  Those who come for Happy Hour tomorrow will enjoy the new Clubhouse and furniture.
 
The new restaurant will open on Friday 24th November for dinner service, after which it will be open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday and for lunch on Tuesday through Saturday.  On Sundays they will offer a special brunch/lunch from 10 am.  
 
We will also have a coffee station from Tuesdays to Sundays with a barista serving quality coffee and cakes and pastries.  So why not stop by for some down time to enjoy the views
 
There will be two styles of service in the restaurant:

• Full table service where the order will be taken at the table and food will be served to the table.
  
• Bistro/Pub style where you order at the counter and the food will be served to the table.

 
There will be a separate menu for each service.
 
So come and experience the new Club on Friday 17th November for drinks during Happy Hour from 3:30 to 6:00 pm or enjoy the new restaurant from Friday 24th November.  The phone number to make a reservation for the restaurant is 9488 9401 but the phone it will not be operational until 20th November.
