The 2018 Dick Carey Bowler of the Year Trophy was awarded to Jim Barclay after an outstanding set of results in club competitions this year. Jim was in the winning side in the Mens Triples, Mixed Triples (n.b. played on Dec. 2) & Mixed Fours and runner-up in the Mens Fours & Major Singles.

The Major Singles winner was Wilson Cheng who, in a short address, expressed his thanks to a number of other members who had supported his development as a bowler.
